We had a lovely one night stay at The Bridges. Steve and Lesley were so helpful and accommodating before and during the trip. Great location as a very short distance from Amble and a good base for exploring the dramatic landscape of Northumberland. The room was lovely, cosy and clean and the bathroom spotless. Steve cooked us a delicious breakfast and nothing was too much trouble. We will return.

The house was in a lovely Cul de sac of Pine built houses that appeared almost Alpine. Pinelodge had an exceptionally beautiful garden which we could view as we enjoyed Linda,s excellent breakfast. We had our own private area with bedroom, separate dining lodge and patio. We were invited to enjoy all the garden . What a thoroughly enjoyable 3 nights.

It was a great base to explore more of the Northumberland coastline. Will hopefully be back again. Highly recommended.

Linda and Peter were very welcoming friendly and extremely helpful. The annex room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a separate private breakfast area. Both rooms had views over the stunning secluded garden. The rooms were decorated with Peter and Linda's eye catching artwork. Breakfasts were excellent with plenty of choice. Pinelodge is close to a lovely country park and beach and is handy for visiting the beautiful Northumberland coast and its castles. Our whole experience at Pinelodge was excellent.

The breakfasts were exceptional, plenty of choice, fresh fruit salad, lovely cooked to order breakfast, with fresh toast and as much tea or coffee,my wife had the pancake stack one morning, said it was amazing, certainly looked it. The owners Lesley and Steve were charming hosts and couldn’t do enough for us,from recommending local restaurants,to walks on the wonderful beaches.
