The lounge dates back to the 17th Century and is a lovely room full of character with original wooden beams and a 17C fireplace

Outside there is plenty of space too. The original 17th Century Mill wheel is an imposing feature on the patio (which is accessed from the kitchen), where part of the race has been restored and is now home to Koi Carp

A joy and a delight. Arrived in a home filled with light and warmth and beauty. Just made me so happy to be here. And the hosts were helpful in every detail and very understanding. The house is beautifully furnished, deliciously comfortable and very well equipped. It was Christmas for our first stay and there were wreaths and a Christmas tree. Total peace and quiet. Much privacy. Luxury and care everywhere. An exquisite garden. Even little details like good quality stereo speakers everywhere. You will be very well cared for in every way.

The hotel is set in the most beautiful, peaceful valley bordering the Brecon Beacons. It it a fabulous country house with a wonderful collection of art. It is comfortable and luxurious but relaxed and welcoming. The staff were lovely and were doing their utmost to make your stay perfect. The rooms were tastefully decorated and beds were extremely comfortable . It was spotlessly clean .

The room was spacious and cosy with a heater which got the room lovely and warm quickly (visited in feb) . The bed was super comfy. We had a lovely meal in the pub downstairs and breakfast was great. Perfect before a big hike. The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us even giving us a doggie breakfast! Couldn't ask for any more for the price! Would definitely visit again.

The Hall is a beautiful, well maintained building, in fabulous countryside with the River Wye path reached by an easy walk across the fields. Our room was very comfortable and well furnished. All the staff were very friendly and provided excellent customer service. A local power cut caused some problems but Jan resolved matters in a very satisfactory manner. The menu for both dinner and breakfast was good and the quality of the food outstanding.
