This place is out of this world. We stayed here as it was local for a family birthday. We ended up staying a day longer to spend some time relaxing. There were a dozen fresh eggs waiting for us on arrival. The place was immaculately clean with all modern design. Yet the home had beautiful character even though it is relatively new.
On Sunday we had a lovely egg omelette for breakfast with the fresh eggs and watched a bit of catch up tv which is something we never have time to do at home. We then decided to take the dog for a stroll down the lanes not only enjoying the view, but watched the rare breed ducks, goats, and chickens. Mark and Cheryl were really helpful and communicate really well and so welcoming. They made us feel like they were friends not strangers. They spent time introducing themselves and the children. A lovely family. Our little Shih Tzu Molly was in her element with the very large closed in side garden running free. Shame we did not have time to enjoy having a game of darts or a barbecue but will be going back again but for longer next time. The wifi is really good so did not have any problems with signal. The beds were really comfortable and a lovely view from the bedroom windows. I would highly recommend Daisy Cottage. Peace and tranquility.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
