We booked to stay here with our family on our wedding weekend, we got Married at Riley-Smith Hall in Tadcaster just a few miles away. The house was beautiful, the children loved the location and the beautiful garden to play in. The bedrooms were perfect for our needs - I had a lovely bath on my wedding morning, in a gorgeous cast iron bath with the most beautiful view through the old sash windows. We loved the eco-friendly cleaning products and the rooms are decorated beautifully. Would recommend for anyone needing a stay in the area for a special occasion or a family break. My only regret is not having more time to spend in such a beautiful, historic property. The hosts were even kind enough to leave us some beautiful courgettes on the doorstep which my Grandma was thrilled with. I hope we have an occasion to stay again!

Good size kitchen, all utensils etc, essentials for fire and didn’t take long to warm up, good location (20 mins drive to York centre) so very peaceful and calm area to stay, would recommend and like to go back again ourselves

Absolutely stunning view from this cottage! It is right beside, almost underneath, the iconic and awe-inspiring Knaresborough viaduct, with the river quietly flowing below. And the view from the cottage in the evenibg is especially unbelievable! We have never had such a peacefully quiet, serene place outside our windows at night. The pink room is tastefully decorated with a super comfy bed and fluffy (not flat!) pillows.

Lovely home from home when I needed it in an emergency. Andrea and Shona were absolutely amazing and supportive and I really don't know what I would've done without them - especially Andrea! I've never been so glad to see tea and coffee upon my arrival. House was immaculate, my little dachshund absolutely loved the bean bag bed! Bed was comfortable, sofa was comfortable. It had everything I needed. Lovely canal walk really close by and in a perfect spot to get to St James Hospital and other parts of Leeds. Will definitely be staying again! Thank you once again ladies for giving me one less thing to worry about!

Great location, we stayed at Acorn Lodge while exhibiting at the Yorkshire Show which is only a 10 minute drive away.
Lots of rooms, bathrooms, plenty of space and so close to where we needed to go. A big ASDA only 3 minute drive away made life even easier. Everything we needed was provided including hangers and a hairdryer in the bedroom.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Lovely cottage. Clean and comfortable. Right off high street in Boston spa but very quiet. Convenient location for York etc.Matthew and Lynn were really helpful, great hosts. Really appreciated the welcome package they left as we arrived late and didnt have time to stop for milk etc. Responded quickly to our texts. I can see why this venue gets so booked up! We will definitely be back.
St.Mary's Cottage was an ideal place to stay while visiting Yorkshire. The house was very well equiped and was cosy & warm. It was peaceful at night thus ensuring a good nights rest.
A cosy, full equippt cottage in a beautiful town. Shops, Pubs and Restaurants in walking distance. Very nice and helpful email contact prior and during the stay. Nothing to complaint about. On arrival all was just cleaned up, Beds were made and it felt like coming home.

St Mary's Cottage is a cozy cottage for several people with plenty of space, storage and everything you need for a perfect holiday. It is beautifully furnished and is in a quiet location in a small, picturesque village. The area is charming and you can take wonderful day trips.
