All anybody wants is a good nights sleep, a comfortable bed and a good shower, this place ticks all the boxes. It’s extremely tranquil, we did not see or hear anybody very quiet and comfortable with everything you need. Best sleep I’ve had in ages, all in beautiful surroundings. You will need a Car, but everything is within driving distance and you can walk 24 minutes to a local pub. Really enjoyed my stay here. Great hosts!

Staff very friendly, good size room and bathroom. Lovely big bed, very well stocked tea tray and bathroom products. Good breakfast and enjoyed the evening meals as it saved going out to find somewhere to eat. Will certainly stay there again if back in that area.

If you are looking for a relaxing, peaceful stay within a self-contained home-from-home, then The Lambing Shed won’t disappoint. It was well appointed and spotlessly clean, and is obviously a labour of love for the owners, who were very welcoming and affable.
The grounds and setting were delightful, and very conducive to a relaxing stay. We used The Lambing Shed as our base whilst exploring the local area, with Bude, Tintagel and the North coast not far away, and The Eden Project to the South only a 40-minute drive.
Before arrival, the owners provided plenty of useful information, including the best route to get there. I recommend adhering to their directions – The Lambing Shed is in a quiet location, part of its charm, and can be approached from two directions, both narrow / single track roads as you near the locale. Following instruction, coming in from the direction of the Rising Sun Inn (about 1 mile away, East of the Lambing Shed) the roads are narrow, but manageable. Coming in from the West to The Lambing Shed, as forewarned, is an experience, especially in a modern SUV – at points you wonder whether the road is actually too narrow for your car. During our stay we tried this adventurous route, more due to following the SatNav than reckless abandon, and were very glad not to meet any oncoming traffic along the way, and relieved once it was over.
The team of robot gardeners on the grounds also kept us more amused than they perhaps should. They did a grand job.

Lovely cottage in a great location with easy access to Boscastle and surrounding attractions. It's very quiet and peaceful, and it i's a great place for dog lovers as plenty of nice walks close by. Great view from the lounge overlooking fields and the sea. It's one of the nicest cottages around.
A very cosy cottage with all facilities and nicely decorated.
Boscastle is in a beautiful valley and a charming village.
It was a pleasant surprise to find scones and flotted cream on our arrival, we appreciated that.
Beautiful, clean, cosy cottage.
Great location for exploring Cornwall.
Owners very attentive, obviously love what they do... really good hosts.
Gorgeous views from the cottage gardens and attached, and enclosed/secure fields to walk our dogs.
Brilliant outside area with climbing frame and trampoline to keep any children entertained.
We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this accomodation...hoping to book again in the future.
It's small but had everything I needed. It's cosy and well-insulated with plenty of windows to fling open on a sunny day. The setting in Pat and David's gorgeous garden is lovely. The lane is quiet (easy access) and, although it feels remote, the cottage is well-situated for exploring North Cornwall. Pat is a lovely host.
The cottage was cosy but airy at the same time, beautifully furnished and felt like a home from home. I loved the little extras, fresh milk in the fridge and lovely scones. I received full instructions on everything that I may need. The pub opposite was really convenient and staff there were really accommodating. It was a great base for our SWCoastal path walk
Lovely cottage - really comfortable, homely and very clean. Nicely decorated and very central location for Boscastle Harbour near some good walks and places to eat or take away. Everything you need available for a stay. Would definitely return.
Lovely cottage in a charming village, right next to the sea. Ampel parking space, great rooms, just as shown on the pictures. Enough privacy for each of our group. The multiple showers meant we didn't have to wait for one another. Everything was clean and in perfect order.
We stayed at The old coach house, in the self catering cottage for Christmas. It was so lovely, Jackie was very welcoming and she left us a cream tea and homemade mince pies, which were both delicious. Me and my husband had such a lovely stay, the cottage was so lovely and cosy. Will definitely be back again. Thank you Jackie for a lovely stay
