I do a lot of reviews as I travel a lot .I have messaged the owner about a problem we had on our one night away but they have failed to get back to me .This place is stunning Iand I have booked to go back but my last experience was not too good .not really the owners fault but we should have been contacted the day before ad the site new there was a scheduled power cut on the day we arrived and we was not aware. I would have been happy to get a refund and book elsewhere as my friend and I was only away for the night .The campsite said on check in that the electric should be back on for 4 but it was ,7 o clock so ee missed out on the full hot tub experience. We had to wait then for the hot tub to warm up which was late evening .The place is stunning though and I have already rebooked to show my hubby .Just upset we could not enjoy what it had to offer last time .

Amazing little cabin, so clean and spacious for 2. Couldn't have asked for better hosts, we didn't want to go home! They had even gone so far to bake some lovely scones and leave some indoors for us.

Pinfold Cottage York, hotel in Bishop Wilton

Our room was spotless and included thoughtful free additions such as bottled water, cans of coke, nibbles, quality shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Jack is an exceptional host and had suggestions for places to visit to make the most of our short stay. It’s a quick bus ride into the city centre and the bus stop for the return trip is right outside the property. We would have liked to stay longer!

The cosy accommodation, lovely surroundings and friendly hosts - there if you needed them but not imposing. Breakfast and gelato were a lovely, and welcome, touch. Lots of little touches had been carefully thought about, such as umbrellas, toiletries, wood and bbq supplies available, the welcome book and lovely treats. We loved watching the hedgehog, squirrels, owls, bats and hare when we were sat outside.

The little house is cosy and modern with lovely extra touches (decor, furniture, welcome pack, fairy lights, hot water dispenser and coffee machine with plenty of supplies) and everything you need for a relaxing stay. It is in a picturesque location and perfect for a relaxing break. The hosts are friendly and helpful and available for any advice. Contact from the hosts prior to arrival was also very good. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property and will definitely return.

It was a very cosy, quiet place to stay with great outside space. The bed was comfortable, we felt very welcome and the continental breakfast was good. It was also a really nice touch to have some free snacks and water. It was almost perfect.

Beautiful village. Charming pub. Comfortable and cosy room in a converted stable block. Excellent dinner and breakfast. Friendly and welcoming staff. We wanted to stay again next week, but they are fully booked. Not a big surprise, because it is a lovely place to stay and very good value for money.

The bungalow made us feel at home, it was a very romantic setting. The breakfast options were amazing! We loved sitting on the decking by the pond, and the walk by the horses. We were given a number to text whenever we needed anything and we were welcomed to knock on with any questions. It felt very much like home as the bungalow and café is run by such a big family. We will definitely be staying again.
