We loved our weekend at Wagtail cottage! Particular highlights included visits to the donkeys nearby and the beautiful log stove which kept us warm and toasty. Excellent location close to the beach. Stunning views from our "Bear Room" and the kitchen. Exceptionally clean - host Paul was very welcoming and the communal kitchen is a fabulous idea. Hot Tub, Pool and Sauna were a perfect bonus

The setting was so peaceful and we loved the privacy. The lodge itself is beautiful and cosy and the hot tub was a fantastic addition. The location is great, we took a trip to Paxton House and wandered in the grounds for a good while. Berwick is a short drive if you fancy going out for dinner in the evening. Overall, it exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to go back!

Paul is a lovely host, very welcoming and leaves you the freedom of his home but is there if you need anything.
We liked everything. From the host Paul. To the room. Very comfy bed. On suite. The pool sauna and hot tub were also perfect. Property right near the beach so a great view. Although it's self catering only they had breakfast cereal. Eggs. Bread free of charge.also coffee and tea.

Everything you would need in a very spacious and clean self catering establishment. Bedrooms and kitchen very well equipped, stunning view of the beach/sea and no passing noise from traffic. Fab Shower, in a great en-suit. we used the pool, hot tub(nice and large, hot and powerful) and the sauna..
The guesthouse was a fantastic place to stay lovely views of the sea. Beautiful house with amazing facilities of swimming pool hot tub and sauna great relaxing stay with clean comfortable room and all though self catering there was a variety of cereals breads and jam

Paul was very friendly and helpful and a great host.
The whole place was very well decorated and furnished. The size of the room was more than adequate and the bathroom had a big walk shower and was very powerful. The facilities were top notch and everything had been thought of. Even though it was a self catering stay there was plenty available to use such as a selection of cereals, bread, eggs, pancakes, crumpets etc.....
The sauna, pool, hot tub and gym were all of exceptional standard and we made full use of them during our stay.
