The fabulous welcome basket, the power on the shower, the comfy beds, the very spacious fridge and freezer, the huge front room with access to ALOT of TV channels, cooking a roast dinner was easy, and of course the location was wonderful. The view was stunning, you could not hear the traffic on the main road, plenty of wildlife to see and a little walk through Jubilee Woods just to the back of the house.

What we didn’t like was dogs dirt on the grass out the back where you sit and also round the side of house from next door neighbours house. Yet, no dogs allowed in house!!
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
We had lovely days at the Argyll Hotel. Great big room, nicely decorated, cosy bed and linen. We didn't miss anything. The restaurant offers great food, regional but with a modern light touch. And the breakfast doesn't leave any wish open. Our dog loved the beach on the doorstep. We really enjoyed our days at Argyll Hotel. Thanks Ian and Nick and team. We will come back 🤗

Very cosy rooms, where you feel home at once! The Hotel is very beatufully furnished and decorated... and our dogs where also warmly welcomed. We loved it and regretted that we only planned the stay for one night!

To be honest I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. The proprietors are doing a very good job at creating a cosy professional independent hotel and we are looking forward to staying there again on our next trip to Kintyre.
Location is excellent, right on the shore. Staff friendly, especially the owner Nick who went out of his way to get me an Internet connection. Food was fabulous, beds very comfy and room was cosy, we felt very comfortable there.
Gorgeous location, friendly staff, cosy atmosphere, very reasonable bar prices, the food was beautiful, the full Scottish breakfast being a particular favourite. Good choice of vegan options too. Would definitely recommend.
