Great staff - we visited just before they had the builders move in for redecoration and redevelopment. Lovely location and really pleasant part of the world.

Eckington Manor, hotel in Beckford

Set in Worcestershire farmland, Eckington Manor mixes charming old features with modern design.

Breakfast was served in the upstairs restaurant (with lovely views), and was of good quality & quantity. The staff attended to our needs, but it was a relaxed atmosphere. The room was in the courtyard and was comfortable and clean. We were fortunate to find the last parking spot on the Saturday afternoon, as there was an event on. However, for later in the day, there was plenty of parking available.

Broadway Newly Remodeled Scandi Chic, hotel in Beckford

Set in Broadway and only 24 km from Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Broadway Newly Remodeled Scandi Chic offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking.

We loved the cottage. The decoration in a warm & cosy style. The facilities and attention to detail were lovely and a good quality standard. Both bedrooms had their own ensuite so perfect if you were 2 couples sharing. The beds were very comfortable. We liked the quiet location only a short walk to shops and amenities. We were very happy that we hadn’t booked a hotel instead as this cottage was much nicer.

Fantastic all round: we had amazing service from Pedro and his team who couldn't have been friendlier or more accommodating. The bar and restaurant are cosy and comfy with a great menu of well-cooked pub classics and more special dishes, and really well-kept Butcombe beers on cask. The rooms look recently refurbished and have lots of extra treats like handmade shortbread, beer and prosecco in the mini-fridge. Finally, a small but important point: they leave you real milk for tea-making, kept cold in the mini-fridge. Bliss!

Location was perfect for Gloucestershire/Warwickshire Heritage Railway. Our room in Aston Cross (The Cottage) was very nicely laid out, beautifully decorated and equipped. Loved the big kettle and small bottle of fresh milk (free). The food was very good at dinner and breakfast. The bream was superb in a subtle but very creative lemon-grass sauce. We loved the effort put into sourcing of local ingredients: drinks, bakery goods, meat, fish, veg, ice cream, etc., from near-by suppliers/growers/producers.
