Great place, Beaminster is idyllic. Cosy little cottage that the kids absolutely loved. Even a few games and puzzles to entertain us. Close to Jurassic coast for fossil hunting and nice national trust half an hour north.
Lovely stone thatched cottage in quiet rural setting. Nice big room, comfortable beds, nicely furnished.
Excellent continental style breakfast, a lot of choice provided.
Very friendly host. Everything exceeded out expectations. Would love to visit again.
(Very nice meals in local traditional pub a short walk away)

Chapel View Cottage is in an excellent location to explore Dorset, Somerset and Devon. The cottage itself is compact, but has everything you might need and is very cozy. The hosts were absolutely wonderful and provided us with plenty of additional information, even during our stay. Would definitely recommend!
The cottage was perfect, a real home from home, and in a great location, a stone’s throw from the village shops and pubs. Our hosts were very helpful before and throughout our stay, and provided so many lovely little personal touches in the cottage, from the fresh daffodils in each room to the Happy Birthday banner they’d hung above the fireplace.
Absolute gem of a cottage (with the loveliest most attentive hosts who were kind enough to give us a relaxed new years day check out)! Very clean, cosy and well equipped in the gorgeous Beaminster. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook, very nice newly furnished bathroom and the bedrooms were lovely and comfortable. The welcome hamper we received was also a delightful little extra surprise! Despite the rain we had a wonderful new years in Dorset and will definitely be back in the summer! Thanks Jacqui and Chris :)
