Spacious, clean, the exposed stone walls. There was a great garden area and it was very close to the Apple Tree pub which was excellent.

It was a wonderful little cottage - clean and cosy.
We had to book it last minute as we were let down by another company and we are very glad we stayed here. Will book again.
This did not feel like a hotel at all - it felt like we were staying in someone’s personal home. The room was so nicely furnished, it felt so cosy. We are bike packers from Australia and the lodge host was kind enough to give us an entire unused room just to store our bikes which we appreciated so much! We wandered literally around the corner for a great meal at a gorgeous little pub.
Quality of bedding, towels, mugs plates etc, not been skimped on, many others think Ikea needs to used when furnishing holiday lets!! Not here thank you! Heating was on too and not miserably controlled, again thanks.

A last minute booking and thoroughly enjoyed my stay.
The lodge was cosy, clean and tidy.
Pub within 2 minutes walk and beach 5-10 mins walk away.
Lovely staff and great breakfast in the morning.
Loved the location of this lovely cottage. Took a little bit of finding (some directions might assist), but it suited us very well. We had a week away with our 2 children and dog and we were all very comfortable here. Lovely pub and cafe in walking distance, lovely beach walks nearby and close drive to Seahouses and Bamburgh.
