Beautifully decorated and with every facility you could want. The patio doors were just perfect in the beautiful weather we were having. We had a lovely walk to Lyme Regis by the river. Directions were very welcome and easy to follow. We hope to visit again!

Lovely place to stay in a beautifully quiet location. Tian was very helpful and the cottage was spotlessly clean. We could walk our dog in the field attached, which was brilliant. We were staying to attend a family party nearby and this was the perfect place. Very comfortable beds and good sized bathroom.

I wanted a relaxing break in beautiful countryside and this little Shepherd's Hut delivered in spades! It had everything I needed for my little getaway. Comfy, cozy and well equipped. Perfect.

Very good location for doing a course at river cottage and the mini-kitchen facilities were also good for that because one of the perks of the course was being able to take food home. The hosts were excellent with commincation and provided thoughtful extras like fresh milk, ginger biscuits, extension chords so there were plenty of plug sockets, toweling robes for guest use. The room is snug as described but clean and comfy, and the wifi was reliable. The fireplace and private door to outside were added bonus that i really appreciated. .
We had trouble finding a taxi on December 31 to go to River Cottage, but the staff came through with a great selection of options. We had to make a last-minute reservation because our train was cancelled on the 2nd. Our reserved room was upgraded. In addition, they went above and beyond to make our stay cosy and the suite was exquisite. The food is outstanding. If our hangovers hadn't prevented us from overindulging in breakfast, we would have eaten much more because there were so many choices.

The village has good facilities, 2 pubs within walking distance, great countryside for walks, and a superb farm shop that we visited for a coffee most days!
A simply stunning location, lovely cottage, great views, peaceful and relaxing. There is very little to fault about the Cosy Cowshed. Very private and offers total relaxation, but within easy access to the Dorset coast and local attractions of Lyme Regis, West Bay and more. We stayed for 7 nights and wished it was for longer. A perfect place to switch off from the pressures of every day life and an equally perfect location as a base for a family getaway.
Jasmine Cottage is a charming place to stay & a good location to explore. Friendly locals. The owners have thought of practically everything for a great self catering break. New fittings, clean & comfy bed with nice linen & soft towels ; a good shower & lots of hot water. Nice thoughtful welcome pack & card. We hope to return soon.
