Whitchurch Farm Guesthouse, hotel in Alcester

Situated in Alderminster and only 8.3 km from Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Whitchurch Farm Guesthouse features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking.

A warm welcome with a large bedroom and bathroom. It may not be for all, but we liked the fact that you help yourself to the buffet breakfast, which is presented on the landing. Each room has a lovely breakfast table ,with trays set out for each guest and breakfast is eaten at your bedroom table. It was a beautiful Autumnal morning, so we ate watching the sheep in the field opposite.

Moss Cottage, hotel in Alcester

Featuring 3-star accommodation, Moss Cottage is located in Stratford-upon-Avon, 11 km from Walton Hall and 15 km from Warwick Castle.

Before we arrived the hosts were extremely helpful and when we arrived they were immediately welcoming without being intrusive. Once we had settled we were offered filtered coffee (or tea) and then the hosts offered their extensive knowledge of the area to help us make our stay more enjoyable. This hospitality transformed our ‘stay over’ into a ‘holiday’. Although we were only there for one night, it felt like a proper break. The room was perfect with lots of attention to the smallest of details: bottled water by the bedside, biscuits with the tea and coffee facilities and shampoo / body wash in the bathroom. The breakfast the following morning was superb with home made jams and marmalades making the meal even more personal. I would highly recommend Moss Cottage.

Little Rushbrook Cottages, hotel in Alcester

In the heart of England, the rural Little Rushbrook Cottages are just 5 minutes’ drive from junction 3 of the M42 motorway. Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre is only a 15-minute drive away.

The accommodation was beautiful and very relaxing. The little touches like items for breakfast and real milk and orange juice were a welcome change as so many places we have stayed do not include these.

Calming and cosy inside, with a gorgeous little terrace and garden outside. It is kitted out for any season. Great use of space and lots of thoughtful little touches. It’s immediately apparent that the lovely hosts love this tiny cottage, and so did I.

A lovely property which was exactly as described. Beautifully designed and decorated, quaint and modern, and spotless inside. Lovely touches with welcome food and drinks provided. The cosy cabin was a welcome spot in the evening too. Walking distance to a lovely pub with an unusual and tasty food selection was a bonus.

The supply of breakfast cereals and milk was really handy. Suzie also very kindly supplied some cold beers for our arrival! Easy journey to Stratford. The EV charger was type 2, 2.9kw power and Suzie allowed us to use this at any time which made our stay with an EV car very straightforward. The cabin at the end of the garden was lovely with a stunning view out into the countryside. The stay was excellent for my wife and I with our three month old child. There was enough space for our travel cot in the accommodation.
