The location was very peaceful and the setting was great. The accomodation was better than expected,:unfortunately weather too cold to take a dip in the pool.

Very friendly and supportive host, even in summer a cool house, beautifully decorated, a nice relaxing garden and well-situated to explore the area in the directions Dordogne and Haute-Vienne.

We had a wonderful stay. Charlie and Carolyn were exceptional hosts. They made us feel like "god" in France. When we arrived we found some drinks, bread, cheese and more to get us started and make us feel welcome. The house had everything we needed and was very cosy decorated. We had fun at the pool and could order a drink at the private bar. We loved the peaceful environment and our hosts had lots of recommendations for places to visit. We definatly recommend staying here!

We had a lovely 5 night stay as a UK family, two adults one 7 year old. The area is so peaceful and secluded. The accommodation was clean and spacious. The local shop is just up the road, and there is a bar/cafe and a pharmacy too. The WiFi worked great and the shower was nice. There is a worktop oven which cooked our fresh pizzas and warmed croissants etc. Beds were comfortable also. We will certainly stay again.

Beautiful house. Spotlessly clean, lovely breakfast, owners very friendly and helpful, nice grounds and pool. Decor was modern but with a lovely French cottage feel. Close to town but not noisy. Only 15 mins walk or 3 mins by car. Excellent restaurant nearby, very good local craft beer brewery only 15 mins walk from the house.
Nono was charming and made us very welcome. Our rooms were in the Tower; bedroom was air conditioned (it was 28 degrees outside), lovely bed linen, comfortable bed and very quiet.
Pool was 29 degrees, clean and very welcome! The grounds are quiet and we enjoyed a few games of table tennis.
We had 2 evening meals which were delicious- simple, good ingredients. Wine and beers were great. Excellent value.
We attended a local wedding and Nono offered us a lift - just a perfect host!
