What a wonderful spot and host. We stayed in the rather unique dovecote, which was fully of character and charm. The use of a large pool, games area and short walk to the village aubergere were all real positives. Lizzy was extremely helpful and keen to hear about what we had been up to, as well as giving us local ideas.

Stargazer is an exceptionally welcoming and wonderful place to stay offering the best of both local exploration and a place to escape and relax. First we had breakfast in the well-equipped kitchen with views out over fields and beyond. We spent our days exploring the local area and further afield and late in the afternoon returned to relax in the pool before heading out to one of the many excellent restaurants a short drive away. It didn't end there. On our return we sat on comfortable hanging chairs and gazed at the stars until it was time to turn in. There was nothing we didn't like. A lot of careful thought had been put into making this into a beautiful, well-appointed and relaxing place to stay.
A former hunting lodge in the heart of Pécharmant vineyard, on 3-hectare grounds, Domaine de Bellevue Cottage is just 2.4 km from Bergerac.

Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Lovely gite. Charming hosts. Quiet rural setting but near a village. Good restaurants and markets in the area. Many Perigord activities and attractions 15 - 30 minutes away. Car a must. Visited in April so pool not open. Can’t say enough nice things about our week at Gites le Pech and our friendly on-site hosts, Caroline and Arnaud.
