Wow! After a long drive arriving at this enchanting, beautifully appointed cabin in the woods was heavenly. A glass of wine on the deck, followed by a fantastic sleep in a very comfortable bed (best sleep since arriving in France) and we woke up refreshed. The property is so very pretty, and has a fantastic bathroom too. if you’re looking for tranquility, privacy and nature, with all the mod cons - this is the place for you. I wish we could have stayed longer - it was heaven.

A very warm welcome from Olivier and Magali and they were a delight to meet.
It was an absolute treat to stay at this beautiful and peaceful gite.
The gite is impeccably clean and very tastefully decorated. On our arrival the log burner was already made for us which was very appreciative with plenty of logs and kindle to keep us cosy for the rest of our stay.
Thank you for our surprise Halloween display outside our door, so thoughtful.
Everything was perfect for a relaxing stay, ideal location for my daughters run each morning to the boulangerie and perfect sunrises and sunsets.

Stargazer is an exceptionally welcoming and wonderful place to stay offering the best of both local exploration and a place to escape and relax. First we had breakfast in the well-equipped kitchen with views out over fields and beyond. We spent our days exploring the local area and further afield and late in the afternoon returned to relax in the pool before heading out to one of the many excellent restaurants a short drive away. It didn't end there. On our return we sat on comfortable hanging chairs and gazed at the stars until it was time to turn in. There was nothing we didn't like. A lot of careful thought had been put into making this into a beautiful, well-appointed and relaxing place to stay.

Fabienne is an exceptional host. The cottage is well equipped and the beds are comfortable. We chose to take our own bedding but there is an option to rent. The kitchen has everything you need including cloths, dishwasher tablets and every utensil you could need. The oven and microwave are exceptionally clean!

Lovely stone cottage in a quiet, isolated place with easy access to numerous bad tides in the region.
Excellent bathroom facilities and heating in the cottage.
Host came out in a storm to bring us a lantern and candle in case the power went out as the storm intensified
