We loved the location. It was a the country farmhouse but still close to a couple of towns with several great walks on small country roads. The house was quiet and comfortable with a well-equipped kitchen with a fireplace that we used every night. Bathrooms were nicely updated and showers were great. Owner was friendly and helpful.

The hosts Christelle and Alain were amazing, couldn't have made it through the week without them. Our car broke down which has been a nightmare but the hosts couldn't have helped anymore, driving us to get to supplies up and down the mountain and making it possible for us to stay another night and already sorted accomodation if we need it tomorrow. If the car still isn't fixed they have said they will come with us to get the garage to sort the problem after already having it in a week waiting for a part. Perfect location for seeing family living in Beaumont. It allowed us to visit Villereal, Monbazillac, Bergerac and Issegeac's Sunday market as well as walk into Beaumont. The host was very communicative and her extended family were on site to answer any questions and give us the keys on arrival. The kitchen was very spacious and well equipped, allowing us to host a lovely Sunday lunch for our family.

Our host met us at the property though we had a bit of a hard time finding--GPS-- put it on the wrong side of the street. The property is impressive: it is like a museum with many collections of interesting things on tables--etc. We were comfortable, though the weather was changing and the mornings were very cool.
