The chateau is beautiful and extremely comfortable. The grounds are magnificent, and we loved the large pool. The host was charming, and he made us feel very welcome. The chateau is in a quiet part of the countryside but is conveniently placed for visiting many destinations. Breakfast was superb. We had the suite, so a large kitchen, living, and dining room were perfect for our family. It was lovely to feel we were actually living in a chateau rather than confined to one room in a hotel. It was very relaxing to lie in bed and listen to the owls.

The hosts were very helpful as we arrived at around 12:45 AM in the middle of the night due to a serious flight issue. The apartment is very cosy, on two floors (kitchen/ saloon on the ground floor, room with double bed and bathroom at 1st floor, another double bed at attic through an internal staircase). The beds are very good. The kitchen has everything you need, even for a longer stay! The apartment is in a house at the end of a small street and is very quiet, it is 100m next to a very beautiful river where you can stay and enjoy the view.

We stayed to go to a wedding near by. The place was immaculately clean, and in very good condition. We slept very well on a comfy bed, but it may be a little hard for some people, that's personal preference. The location was exceptionally quiet, and the hosts clearly made an effort to make no noise at any time to disturb us - their property is attached, but all of your garden and terrace space is completely private.
The bathroom was excellent, with a great shower too.
We were met with a friendly welcome. The host had made sure to leave a number of essentials in the kitchen, as well as some drinks and a cake in the fridge was was above and beyond.
Property is easy to find. Just 10 mins lovely walk in to town for the boulangerie and bar and restuarants etc. And the whole area is great for a few kilometers of easy walking.
We are already planning when we might come back.

Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Lovely location by the canal and on our cycle route. It’s a very pretty lock keeper’s former cottage with sweet bedroom, modern bathroom and access to kitchen area and lounge. Just perfect. The host was very welcoming. We highly recommend
