We had a wonderful stay at Cabane Rouge-Gorge - everything was perfect. The treehouse lodge was located in the middle of woods, surrounded by lots of trees, it was so peaceful and quiet. We were met by our host who showed us to the location and around the accommodation once we arrived. The lodge itself was so comfy and cosy and provided everything we needed. The outside space was great, especially the wood fired hot tub was the highlight for us both. Each morning we received a lovely breakfast that was dropped off in a beautiful basket - the yogurts (which I think were homemade) were delicious. It was a perfect stay and I'd highly recommend - we didn't want to leave.

This is such an amazingly relaxing place to stay. The location is beautiful, set amongst the peaceful countryside - barely any traffic on the roads. Numerous lovely towns and villages nearby to explore. We loved the pool - a genius idea raising it up. Quentin the host was always polite and helpful - we will definitely return!

Clean, and very spacious property. Beds comfy and clean good linen. Large bathroom and additional en-suite with shower. Plenty of safe parking, gardens well maintained. Lady owner met us on agreed time and welcome us into the property.

An absolute gem of a place! Beautifully situated in rolling rural countryside, perfectly peaceful and with a very welcoming and super-helpful host, Mathilde, who also speaks English. Our room was more than big enough and tastefully decorated, there's a swimming pool for the hotter days, and a simple but satisfying breakfast is served outdoors if the weather allows. We will definitely return!
Amazing place in the middle of a walnut orchard, in the Dordogne countryside, more precisely in the Haut-Périgord Noir, in a completely renovated house dating from 1850. Good breakfast, clean rooms, amazing ambiance. Free parking on site. Restaurants available nearby - ask Mathilde, we loved her suggestions. Also, Mathilde was really generous with us, because we left our luggage longer to have time to visit around. Thank you!
