Beautiful cottage, with all the comforts of home. We really appreciated the artistic attention to detail throughout the home and the gardens. There are plenty of comfortable beds, a great family dining area, and even donkeys. This would be a lovely place for a romantic getaway or a family vacation. Annie was a great host, and went out of her way to make our stay enjoyable.
We loved the cosy feel of this cottage and also the fact it was so well-equipped. The decor was lovely which made it a home from home. I especially liked the stained glass interior windows! The heating was efficient and easy to manage which meant that even though the weather was changeable we were always warm. The outside space was also lovely although the weather meant we didn't make the most of it.
Don't expect a complete English breakfast the owner doesn't like it ! but you'll find all you need to start a good day at the Stone Cottage. A wonderful traditional house that Paul rebuild all by himself. That so kind old man will welcome you nicely.
For our stay, Stone Cottage suited us perfectly. The host is a really lovely man who goes out of his way to make your stay as best it can be. Rooms had everything and are very clean. Really enjoyed the breakfast as well
