I recommend calling the owner fifteen minutes before coming to ask her about the direction - GPS gets it wrong and you have to use the way around. Once you get there, you'll know.
It's super-safe and really desolate, there's a place for your car and everything.
The house is really small but is enough for 2-4 people. Keep in mind that people with movement difficulty (who have problem with legs, back or are obese etc) might not get upstairs as the stairs are pretty steep and hard to reach.
The owner is really nice and helpful. There's also a dog on the premise which I personally liked but a girl in our group was scared of.
You can get to Lisieux in 10 minutes.
Taking in account the relation price-quality, I totally recommend.
Domaine du Martinaa is located in Saint-Martin-de-la-Lieue and features a private pool and garden views. Beauty services and a bicycle rental service are available for guests.

The host was waiting for us on the domain.
Super friendly, super helpful.
Very childfriendly place with sheep, goats, pigs... like a pet zoo. Very cute.
Nice swimming pool. Absolutely no complaints. Would recommend!

The gite was extremely warm and welcoming, and had all the necessary amenities in perfect condition. The location is simply breathtaking and the owner is an extremely kind, affable and funny guy! We really found our stay relaxing thanks to all of these things!

The property was in a beautiful location. Just a 5 minute drive or 20 minute walk into the village. Amazing views and sunsets from the back of the property. The pool was a lovely addition, so refreshing on a hot day. Lovely bakery for fresh croissants in the morning.
Lots of places to visit. Cerza zoo was amazing and only 30 minutes away. Cheese museum and shop just 5 minutes away and the village of Camembert 25 minutes drive. Also the D-Day beaches and museums are just over an hours drive.
Offering a garden and garden view, Maison OPTIKU CORMEILLES is situated in Cormeilles, 12 km from Cerza Safari Park and 20 km from Basilica of Lisieux.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Fantastic little find on the edge of Liseux, good secure parking ,brilliant staff great facilities, pool sauna lovely and clean, rooms were massive with self catering facilities big comfy beds ,would definitely return
The apartment is at an exchange location, less than 10 Minutes from the Cathedrals and 20 Minutes from the Basilica. The room was really very quiet, cozy and the furnishings were tasteful and elegant. The communication with Frédéric was great, he was very help and friendly and responded quickly to any question I had. I definitely recommend this place and stay there again!
The property is very centrally located with free on-street parking options, within an easy walk. It features a very grand though charming entrance/foyer. It offered a full buffet breakfast at a very affordable price. The staff are extremely attentive and helpful.
Very nice apartment, just like it is shown in the photos and description. Warm, comfortable & cosy with a good kitchen & equipment. It was useful to park outside and the little garden was nice to have. The apartment was easy to find and the area quiet and close to shops & sights, walking distance to the centre of town. Also very close to station if travelling by train. The owners are very helpful and respond quickly to any queries.
The house was absolutely beautiful, big rooms, the en suite bathroom was huge. Hot tub in the pretty garden too. Lovely breakfast. It was only B&B but the owner offered us a platter of cold meats etc and pastries and a bottle of wine (though we actually went out to a very good restaurant nearby)
Fantastic location. You can walk out the front door and cross the street into the park in the centre of Lisieux and then into the main square to visit the cathedral. Secure car park on site so no worries.
The property itself has been beautifully restored and the rooms are well equipped.
The star of the show are the staff who are just wonderful and so accommodating.
If you are visiting Lisieux or the surrounding area, this is the place to stay.
Beautiful large room with a balcony overlooking the front of the hotel and the front garden. It has a small kitchenette which we didn't use, but fridge was very useful. The young lady at reception was charming and helpful and seemed to do everything in the hotel due to a clear staffing issue. The breakfast was very simple but delicious coffee, bread and croissants. A very short walk to the town centre and its restaurants. The swimming pool is lovely and for private use only at the moment so half hour slots have to be booked in advance.
