Lovely 2 bed gite with a huge garden ( 150m long) in a quiet village a few miles from a town with restaurants and supermarkets. Well equipped including a washing machine which was useful. Close to the River Creuse and canoeing is available in Le Blanc. Old railway line running through the village has been repurposed for cycling along the valley. We had a lovely week.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
This place was absolutely charming, such a gorgeous property - with old world and modern comfort meeting in harmony. The beds were also so incredibly. comfortable!

The property and its grounds are idyllic, the house is very well kept and tasteful, the pool area is fantastic. The dining area was so authentic , you cannot help but relax in this house
Old castle next to a river. Very charming, nice garden. We stayed in one of the old towers.
The owners are very welcoming and are happy to tell you more about the castle. Breakfast was outstanding. Home made jams, fresh baguette, one of the best brioche breads we’ve had.
