We have visited many times and hopefuly will continue to return. We usually book for 2 nights, so that we can get a break between driving through France (largely pleasurable) and the horrendous prospect of driving to the North of England on largely inadequate and hopelessly overcrowded English roads. Breakfast and dinner are available but we prefer to use the well-equiped kitchen to prepare something when we feel like it. Wonderfully relaxing rural retreat.

This is our second visit to the gite. It's perfect for a stopover the night before catching the train back to the UK. It has everything you require. Comfy beds, beautiful decor and this time we were able to lounge outside in the sunshine. Perfect recovery after a long drive north.

The location was exceptional, and the view was stunning. Plenty of garden area for kids was amazing. The house was great, well furbished and very comfortable.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Beautifully restored (by the owner) building in a quite location. Felt very welcome and were given good, helpful information on where to eat in the evening. Breakfast was lovely and lots of it. Would recommend.
Location easy to reach from the port but quiet, countryside feel. An easy drive to a bakery for breakfast. The beds were very comfortable, the shower (and the two bathrooms in general) excellent. Everything very clean and well-arranged. The hosts were most accommodating when we arrived earlier than planned, and helpful in explaining how things worked. They were very responsive when we contacted them, but left us alone until asked. There were USB charging ports next to nearly every plug socket, lots of places to charge everything up.
The owner was super friendly and helpful and gave us a comfortable, welcoming feeling. Spoke English extremely well which was handy since I'm not the best at French. The room was very clean and proper with all the needed amenities. Very good soap and even had wipes to clean your glasses. Breakfast was simple but nice and cosy. Located in a very calm and cosy small french village with a safe feeling.
A bright, charming little home. Emilie was so welcoming we warmed to her immediately. Peaceful and private with lovely colourful flowers in the garden, we wish we could have stayed longer!!
