We loved the town with its untouristy vibe. The local bar/restaurant was great local vibe with great food.

Lovely 2 bed gite with a huge garden ( 150m long) in a quiet village a few miles from a town with restaurants and supermarkets. Well equipped including a washing machine which was useful. Close to the River Creuse and canoeing is available in Le Blanc. Old railway line running through the village has been repurposed for cycling along the valley. We had a lovely week.

The setting, rooms, building, and atmosphere were idyllic. Traditional medieval castle at it's best. Food and host could not have been better. The surrounding forests and lakes were beautiful. This property has been meticulously renovated back to it's original form. Excellent.
