Cozy room. Bed (queen size) was big and very comfortable. Access to a huge terrace from my bedroom with lovely views of the garden and forest. Good breakfast. The house is not far from Ceret, only 5 min drive. But you need a vehicle to move around.
The best for me was the peace and tranquility of the area. In the morning, with the first rays of sun, I enjoyed the sound of the birds and the breeze whipping the trees. What else do you need? Great!!
The owner and hostess is a wonderful lady who has opened up her delightful home 🏡 with a host of her creations and findings; stamping hers and her family’s history and art connections on it in a truly personal touch. Lovely.
Her story is charming to listen to. Such a stoic and remarkable lady. A pleasure to have met her.

Poppys is perfectly located in the centre of town, near to everything (even for easy walking in the nearby hills with the dog), and with parking nearby.
Easy going atmosphere, quirky comfortable room (and bed), plenty of space and a cosy, very convivial shared dining area. Paul is a natural host; friendly, knowledgeable, easy going.
Outstanding breakfast - lots of choice, generous and simply beautifully cooked. Truly a delight.
What a unique and spectacular property! The grounds were beautiful. The room had a great design aesthetic and was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was served in a charming sunroom with a gorgeous view of the local hills.
A beautifully restored Mas a km outside Céret. In a quiet location some way from the main road. Outside space included a lovely courtyard with loggia and a beautiful pool with ample high quality furniture.

Room and bathroom were spacious and clean. Comfy bed. Splendid breakfast. Location is perfect.
