We particularly liked the location due to its tranquility and the shared pool; the view from the rear of the property was stunning.

Good facilities and friendly owner. Shortcut into town is cute but it is secluded and not lit at night. Take a torch. Not sure I would do it a single female traveller to be honest.

The cottage has everything you need for a home away from home experience - we have just returned from 3 wonderful weeks here and thoroughly enjoyed both the home and the region. It is in easy reach of all the wonderful delights that the Dordogne Perigord region offers. You do really need a car to get out and about to see the sights.
Guillaume is a great host, was there to greet us, and kept in touch throughout our stay.

The accommodation was in beautiful surroundings, and we had a great patio area that was elevated where we sunbathed, sat out on a night and star gazed (and drank) and also BBQ'd on. Inside the accommodation was beautifully presented and had a huge bed which was so comfortable with good quality bedding. The shared pool area was also perfect and was never too busy with lots of sunbeds. The hosts were both amazing too, so friendly and helpful and always up for a chat or advice. Overall the place just had a lovely laid back feel to it, and was absolutely immaculate. It's also in a rural but great location as about 20 mins drive from 2 great towns Montignac and Sarlat.
La Borie du Cambord is situated in Sarlat-la-Canéda and has a private pool and pool views.

Everything ! Excellent all round facilities to use as a base in Dordogne -but a car is essential. Pierre Yves and Pauline are committed to making a complete holiday experience. The pool is warm and clean I appreciate the quality cushions on various sunbeds, seating , dining areas -there are numerous games and activities in the grounds and indoors. Pétanque darts table -tennis etc I also appreciated the choice of public rooms to relax with BBc tv too! Dining room, sun room tv room. Children and adults Games available and plenty of books! Study upstairs-an amazing shared kitchen fully equipped . A breakfast delivery daily is available too! Highly recommended we loved it.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this place! The hosts were welcoming and showing thoughtful gestures during my visit ! Cosy studio, with a comfortable bed, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep, as well equipped with all amenities needed for an independent stay. Additionally, convenient parking made the experience even more enjoyable. Great location to discover the region.
I can only recommend booking your stay here!
