We had a great stay for 1 week at Villa Avanto in Suomenniemi. The location is stunning, with beautiful lake views and a private forest area. No neighbors. The villa is well-equipped with a modern kitchen and a relaxing sauna. Comfortable bed. There are some activities like fishing (we did not try, but tools were available), boating, and hiking to enjoy. While the cleanliness could have been a bit better (pier and summer kitchen grill), everything else was fantastic. Overall, I highly recommend it for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway.

Communication was easy and the hosts were welcoming and nice. Lovely location, a large cozy house easily fitting 9 people. The wooden-heated sauna is great and a pier on the lake makes swimming easier and sunbathing more fun.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
The owners were super charming and friendly. They made my wife and I feel very welcome. The breakfast was an outstanding feature with home made treats and local produce. By far the best breakfast I've had so far on my tour. The room was a bit dated, but nonetheless very comfortable. For what we paid I was delighted!
The sauna was free and next to the lake so you could go take a dip, it was wonderful. The staff were mostly helpful and solved our worries quickly. The overall vibe was great and the area very scenic.
The campgrounds had all you needed. We stayed in a cabin and again had all we needed. Nice and cosy. It was well maintained and the Manor house was gorgeous.
