The view from our room was breathtaking everytime we woke up or came back from visiting the surrounding areas. The room gets tidied every single day in a very thorough way. The bathroom is nice and large. The communal kitchen is easy to work with and also gets cleaned every day. The hosts are very welcoming and friendly. Have recommendations about where to eat and what to do. Are easy going and very helpful. They tried to prioritize our room so we could Check-in as soon as we arrived. We really appreciated that
The only way to get there is by car and there is plenty of space to park. The beach is only 8 min away. San Sebastian is a 20 min drive.
The room is pretty soundproof. Unless someone is talking right in front of the door, you can't really hear other guests.
Our stay was everything we wished it was and would definitely recommend to stay here!

It is such a beautiful place! Easily our favorite stay during our Basque Country trip. The room was spacious with an amazing view of the vineyards, and the bed was super comfy. The breakfast was rich and delicious. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves peaceful, soulful places in nature. On top of that, the hostess was a true gem—she’s a master of hospitality! Definitely a 10/10 experience.

This was the cutest little place! It’s a B&B with 6 rooms in a gorgeous house. Eduardo was the perfect host from start to finish. We were treated to an excellent breakfast every morning - cereals, granola, fresh fruits, natural yoghurt, homemade Spanish tortilla, Serrano ham, cheese, toast and jams, twinings tea of all different flavours. All eaten in the stunning views of the garden. Really felt at home. Eduardo’s mother didn’t speak a word of English yet had a lovely conversation with us, it was excellent for us as we’re learning Spanish and we had lots of time to practise. She was just lovely, gave us a map of the area and showed us how to get around. The cleaner was equally welcoming. There was parking right outside the property but we didn’t need the car once. The train station was a 5 minute walk which took us straight into San Sebastián, it also goes to Bilbao which we didn’t do. We also went to Zarautz and did the recommended walk to Getaria. About 4km to the town which was beautiful. The pinxtos in all of these areas are so tasty, the basque region is known for its fish for a reason, so fresh. I would 100% stay here again, it was a little gem of a house with superb links to anywhere you’d want to go.

Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Beautiful location! The city is close to San Sebastián. We were driving so not sure how easy it is to get from this location to SS via public transit. Bed was incredibly comfortable and bathroom had great water pressure. Didn't use the kitchen for cooking but appreciated how shelves were assigned to guest in the fridge and cabinets.
Blai Blai Hostel is one of the best hostels I have stayed at out of 200+ hostels in 10 years of walking on Caminos in Spain.
The facilities are perfect - excellent private cabin beds, with every little detail thought of. Ample showers and space, nice salon, very clear and still friendly posters with rules and tips. Coffee machine with capsules,
And the lady managing the hostel is very welcoming, friendly and helpful.
