Everything was exceptional. The hosts were very kind. They gave us a tour around the house during our arrival. They have some food ready for us, such as bread, fruits, yogurt, and ham. The kitchen is big and fully functional. You can cook and even bake :) There are 3 bedrooms, which is even big for couples. The house is stylish that you can use it for photoshoots, including the pool. It is located in a small town, so you get to meet local people and dine in local restaurants and you can always visit near cities, like Merida, etc.
Surrounded by the beautiful countryside of Extremadura’s Sierra Morena, Sierras y Valles is located in the medieval town of Salvatierra de los Barros. It offers rooms with great mountain views.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Centrally located with easy parking, Casa Ruy Lopez was a pleasant place to stay. It was cosy, tastefully decorated with a comfortable bed in a very clean room. We received a warm welcome (despite arriving at the wrong time) and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. At breakfast, in the charming, small dining room, there was a good choice of food with excellent service.
The building itself is charming and the room was large and quirky. The shower was great. The bed was very comfortable. There was a lift up to our room. The breakfast was ok, continental style with a freshly made coffee for each guest.🙂Loved the conservatory where the breakfast was served, full of plants and unusual artefacts. Also really liked the modern phone chargers next to the bed.
Very beautiful and cozy hotel. Beautiful view to the church from our room. Amazing heating and heated floors in the room. Very kind and attentive owners. The bed was very comfortable and clean. We loved the variety of the breakfast and to be able to prepare it to our liking.
A beautifully restored house with plenty of character very close to the centre of charming Zafra. Much attention to detail and comfort. Very helpful host and a delightful breakfast.
This is our second stay here. Beautiful old heritage building in a lovely setting. Great facilities including the swimming pool. Good spacious room, comfortable beds. Charming atrium/ communal area with fountain and seats adjacent to the dining area.
