Beautiful surroundings and views from the gardens. Very rural, moss all over the place. One can pick citrus fruits from the trees! A complimentary basket of food and fruit can be found in the kitchen on arrival. The people who received us were extremely kind and helpful. Our house was modern and comfortable and well equipped. We had a problem with the TV that was fixed immediately. Lovely place

The house is full of character and in tip-top condition. From the outside it looks like it always did, but inside it is spacious and comfortable with great facilities, and an intriguing mix of modern and original features, such as the glass wall of the bedrooms looking at the original "feature wall". This does mean the are several steps and very low external doors. It is nice and quiet and very private despite being only a minute or two's drive from the main road, giving quick access to Melgaço and anywhere else along the river.
