We had the most incredible time in Santa Lucia. The village is very cute and far from the most touristic places, perfect if you want to rest. The host was incredibly kind and helpful. The house was very cute and clean. How delightful it was to enjoy the sun on the terrace while refreshing in the pool ! We recommended this location to our families and friends more than any other places that we went to in Gran Canaria !

The house is located in the centre of Santa Lucia, a beautiful village in the mountains. Very quiet and friendly neighbourhood. There are several stores and restaurants nearby, which is very convenient. Perfect location if you have a car, but if you want to explore the island by bus, it is also doable. If you love the mountains and hiking, it's perfect for you. Kitchen is well equipped, bathroom is clean and the bedrooms are cosy and comfy. The house was much bigger than expected. There even is a barbecue.
Jose, the property host, and family were nearby and he provided home grown fruit and herbs plus all the usual benefits for self catering. The patio area has excellent views of the surrounding mountains with seating, table and loungers. The location, being central, is perfect for walking into the hills either from the property or short drive. Locally, there are general food stores and restaurants so to eat in or out is within walking distance.
We spent a fantastic 9 nights here...arrived in the dark and woke up to breathtaking views!
The property has been lovingly restored with lots of attention to detail. It's a great location in the mountains if you want to avoid the crowds and have a quiet holiday, but not far to drive to explore. The owners are lovely and really helpful too.
Excellent rural home. The space inside turned out to be much larger than expected from the outside. Large bedroom. Equipped kitchen. Two terraces, a barbecue, a swimming pool, an orange garden, figs and olive trees look onto the balcony, two bathrooms, a washing machine, a fireplace .... it's easier to say what was not there than to list the advantages.

Аbsolute authentic road to the house, prepare comfortable shoes. Sandals don't fit. For the summer season, it is important that there is little sun.
This house is situated in a peaceful landscape, in the middle of nature. The nice village of Santa Lucia is only 20 min away by walk, where you can find a restaurant, a cafe and a grocery. The house/the village is also a good starting point for hiking. The house is comfortable, cosy, and Juan, the owner, is super nice and accommodating. If you’re looking for a chill place to stay, where you can eat outside, have a walk in the orchard or have a chat with the other international guests, it’s the place for you!
Carlos went above and beyond in helping me when I packed US adaptors, rather than EU adaptors for my phone and computer that I desperately needed.
Santa Lucia is a quiet sleepy place with no hardware store, Carlos somehow got me two new adaptors from the coast and had them driven to the cottage that very evening.
