Excelent location with a great view over pontagorda. Quiet and peaceful place. House is well equiped and is very confortable. The owner was very affordable and it was an easy contact via whattsapp. If you like astrophotography is a nice location if weather permits (I was unfortunate) Very recommended.

We were keen to observe the La Palma dark skies and so chose the property specifically for its slightly remote location so as not to be disturbed by direct neighbour or town lights and we were not disappointed. It was indeed a special location and the views to the sea were beautiful.

The view is just amazing and hard to beat. Perfect sunset overlooking green area towards the ocean. The host Laura is very care taking and super friendly. We enjoyed our unexpected nice conversation on the arrival day. As in Puntagorda the nights in winter time can be chilly the big bonus for us was the chimenee and plenty of fire wood to spent cosy warm evenings at home.

We chose this accommodation so the four of us would have their own spaces/beds. The two accommodations are located on a very nice and well taken care of finca down a little windy road close to the main road that goes up north just after the main village of Tijarafe. The first option is a cute little wooden hut and the second one, a bit farther down the gravel road, is a stone cottage. Close to the hut is also a community kitchen which you are welcome to use. Everything seems newly furnished/renovated. The private kitchens also include coffee and sugar. The host is very friendly and welcoming and he invited us for dinner in exchange for a donation. We had a blast sitting around the dinner table, having a meal together and sharing stories. It was a short but memorable stay that we all enjoyed. Thank you for your hospitality Stephan, we can’t wait to come back one day!
Things to keep in mind:
- the hut and the cottage are not close to each other (in case you are traveling in a group)
- there is a 10€ supplement to make use of the sofa beds (in case you don’t want to share a bed)
- the hut’s bathroom is only accessible from the outside
- the bathroom only has hand soap (no shower gel)
- we recommend arriving before it gets dark

Charming house with a superb veranda. Lots of green plants around and lovely views. Log burner was very cozy at night. Friendly owners who really seem to care about their guests and easy and flexible check in. Very quiet at night.
If you don't like cats or are allergic to them, you might not enjoy the veranda so much. I like cats, so I enjoyed their company.
Location was superb. Every evening we bought snack food to eat at the house rather than go out to a restaurant as we did not want to miss out on the wonderful evenings there. Sunsets were glorious, the house appeared to be 'hanging' over the sea and the plunge pool was idyllic.
