We could not have been happier with this property. Our hostess was very helpful and easy to work with and the property was impeccably clean and nicely furnished, with a well-equipped kitchen. The view from the rooftop terrace was wonderful and the location was perfect for visiting nearby pueblos blancos and Acinipo. Montecorto is a quiet, charming, picturesque village with a couple small supermarkets for staples. We parked in the public free lot near the church less than 100 meters from the house. We walked the self-guided tour of Montecorto's nine villages and part of the trail to El Gastor. I enthusiastically recommend this property for a quiet getaway, easy 20 minute drives to several pueblos blancos, or day hiking.

Cute rural cottage style building with lemon trees around. Unique style of the rooms with lovely reception area. The bed was comfortable with a very nice smell of fresh sheets and bed linen. Food was great but with very limited options for breakfast (if you stay 1 or 2 nights it's ok, but for us eating bread with ham/salami and cheese with cake for 9 days got boring - no eggs or vegetables). The staff was always welcoming and smiling.

what a gem of a place this is. very remote so need a car to get there but pure bliss of countryside and mountains. food at dinner was absolutely amazing too
The setting of this hotel is really beautiful - the views from our room and from the terrace at dinner and breakfast were magical. The staff member we dealt with was really friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pool, and the surroundings of the hotel such as the old bullring and the chapel are really charming. Beautiful dark skies at night to see the stars.

A very charming house with lovely owners that will make you feel right at home. You can see the attention to detail and the amount of work the family has put in to transform this place into what it is today. Montecorto is a perfect stop to discover the surroundings and the Sierra de Grazalema. We were surprised by its authentic charme and the well taken care of state of the town/pueblo. Special thanks to Floren for his kind welcome and advices that made our stay a truly wonderful experience. Would always recommend.

What an amazing place this is! Surrounded by mountains, sitting in the bottom of the valley, in the middle of nature, far from city noises and other buildings. Perfect for a countryside getaway. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very cozy and reflecting a countryside feeling. The restaurant is outside under a beautiful tree. For my taste this hotel is 10/10. Will definitely go back.
