Everything about our stay here was just fabulous! The house itself is great, very nicely restored, with absolutely amazing views! Although the whole area is beautiful, and the town of Santa Lucia is really nice, we particularly liked the location of this house. On the one hand, really private with total peace, relaxation, and views. But on the other hand there is a fabulous little restaurant just up the road, and the little visitor centre for La Fortaleza archaeological site is really worthwhile, as it makes it so much more interesting every time you look at or drive by the caves. And there are multiple hikes and walks that can be done straight from the house - we did a different 2/3 hour walk each day and they were all fabulous. There is also a walking trail into Sta Lucia.

This was by far the nicest place in Gran Canaria where I have been staying so far. The host was very welcoming, the garden and the view were absolutely spectacular. Orange trees in the enormous garden, mountains in the back. Very quiet. All the day you hear the sounds of all the pretty birds, busy doin their thing. The big surprise was that there were a couple of tiny puppies who were playing all the day, with eachother, with the cats - under the supervision of their mother - who 'protected' the area.
