An excellent location for experiencing the Basque countryside and coast, with striking sea views and horses grazing nearby, as well as good train access to Bilbao and beaches. The breakfast was very tasty and offered a wide selection of culinary options. We especially enjoyed the onsite swimming pool, which was well-maintained and clean. Cristina is a warm and friendly host who went out of her way to be helpful at every opportunity.

Hosts are amazingly nice and sweet. Room was definitely bigger than stated on Booking - or the bathroom was not included, as it was very spacious. Terrace is simply amazing, too bad the weather was not too good for us.

Beautiful house, I had a really nice room in the attic. The owner was really nice and welcoming, making sure I had all I could need. The countryside surrounding is breathtaking, all green and rolling hills. Unfortunately I did not have much time to enjoy that aspect this time as I had an early flight next day. The connection to the airport is fantastic, 10+ minutes by car, so it is an excellent alternative to a hotel airport.

As a family of 5 ( with 3 teenagers) we had a fabulous stay. It's not often you get to completely disconnect and unwind and just spend time together as a family. Fabulous destination and having the private pool is a complete game changer. We all.loved our stay here. The host really went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We highly recommend this destination. (Stayed 17th - 19th July 24)

The house has a beautiful garden and is located close to a beach. The beach is charming and great for swimming. Mostly local people. Castro Urdiales is 6 minutes by car with lots of nice bars and restaurants. Perfect location for daytrips as well both for sightseeing and hiking. We loved it and the host is super friendly and responded very quickly to any questions we had.

Very friendly place! It was a cold and rainy Camino del Norte day and I was received very welcoming. The heating was put on which made it very cosy. The bathrooms are very clean and spacious. There is a restaurant nearby where you can get dinner.

Nice old-style hotel with charming character . Very clean and looks like it's been recently redecorated throughout. Probably once had great views but the town is now a mess of ugly apartment buildings all round . Its 2 minutes from the bus station and also close to the beach. The man at reception was very friendly and helpful
