Unbelievably comfortable. Owner is beyond hospitable—gave us a loaf of traditional bread from the region; is coming back today to help one of our members with his luggage. This is his mom’s house that has been renovated, updating things while keeping the charm. Three of us are walking the Camino—it’s just a few minutes walk off the route. Kitchen is well-equipped with spices, oil, vinegar. Lots of small, thoughtful touches throughout. For four of us this ended up not being that much more expensive than a hostel with dorm beds—huge difference! I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

The best stay on the camino! In fact, I wish we could have stayed longer! It is 4km away from the actual camino, so we had to take a taxi (10 EUR) from the city center, but it was so worth it. I cannot recommend this place enough. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful. We don't speak Spanish but the communication was easy as Maria was great at using Google Translate. She is also a wonderful cook, so definitely get both dinner and breakfast there instead of in the city. The place is very calm and peaceful. We were very happy with our room. We were also offered a ride back to the city the next morning, which just goes to show how hospitable the hosts are.
