From the outside it looks like it always did, but inside it is spacious and comfortable with great facilities, and an intriguing mix of modern and original features, such as the glass wall of the bedrooms looking at the original "feature wall". This does mean the are several steps and very low external doors. It is nice and quiet and very private despite being only a minute or two's drive from the main road, giving quick access to Melgaço and anywhere else along the river.
