Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
The facilities are new with very cozy atmosphere, a great place to relax with family. A nice swimming pool, not very big but good enough for kids to play or grab a book and lay in the pool side.
It is in a spectacular location overlooking the iconic bridge in Besalú. We had a friendly welcome and were shown round the beautiful and historic property, with hand painted wallpaper and original tiles. There’s was a beautiful wood panelled library and use of a kitchen. Our balcony overlooked the bridge and was a great place for an aperitif.
Magnificent old casa filled with history, treasures and stories - glorious views over the town, spotlessly clean, huge room, wonderfully comfortable bed, charming attentive staff and a delicious breakfast.
Nice location in what ought to be a peaceful and beautiful countryside setting. Staff we saw were very nice and helpful and welcomed us to the property.
The studio room concept was good and was spacious, but in practice it was not well equipped enough to provide self catering accommodation as there were many things missing - Nespresso machine but no pods, 4 forks but only 2 knives, no towel for the kitchen, the small cutting knife was very bent/damaged. The bed was very comfortable and the aircon worked well once it was on for a while.
The most amazing views! We stayed in the bungalows. Staff very helpful even though minimal english. The beds were very comparable, cabins were clean. Air con worked well, unfortunately couldn’t leave the door open to get the breeze as lots of insects (a screen door would minimise the need for the AC). It was brilliant thank you
The Staff was very friendly and made us feel at home. The room, terrace, and common areas (incl. library & fireplace) were all clean, comfortable, and well decorated. The breakfast buffet provided a great variety and was certainly worth the value add. The location is incredible, with free (public) parking next door, we really enjoyed our experience.
Nice historical building, comfy bed, cosy rooms, fantastic view and very central location. Very wise combination of furniture - in the rooms it is modern and in the hall old and romantic. You stay like in small palace. Breakfast is delicious (starts at 8.30).
