Everything at the Casa was lovely, homely and immaculately clean. We used the local shop but there were no restaurants in the village which was disappointing.

Casa Rural Las Canteras is located in the Extremadura countryside, 10 km outside the town of Trujillo, in a birdwatching reserve. It has free WiFi in public areas.

The Casa Rural has a sitting room on the ground floor which is equipped with a TV. There is also a conservatory with views of Trujillo and the surrounding countryside, which is popular with bird-watchers.

This is a rural property a few KMs from town. It is not a luxury hotel but was comfortable, especially if you want a break from the busy towns/cities. A good breakfast was available for a few extra Euros. The host was welcoming.
