Mohamed was a wonderful host who sorted out a sunrise hot air balloon flight for us and bike hire. The property itself was great and in a nice spot next to the Nile and restaurants.

great large house, well decorated, fully equipped, beautiful garden and 2 swimming pools, awesome views over the Nile; extra for us was the excellent service from the team esp Ramadan and Saber who were extremely kind and helpful in the house, serving us tea, dinner and even helping with laundry, and they took us on a tuctuc ride with the family. Host is very responsive and the advice from Mohammed who manages was very good as we planned our visits the next day

28.04.–11.05. 2024 we spent 15 nights at Shahhat House. This is a beautiful, spacious, clean, comfortable house with a large terrace, in a quiet area of the West bank, right in front of Medinet Habu Temple. The house has a lot of space and everything you need for a comfortable and quality stay. Hamdy, the owner of the house, communicated perfectly with us. Since he was not in Egypt at the time we arrived, his acquaintance, Mahmud, stood in for him. He came to the airport for us, stopped with us in the Village to buy food, water and an Eg. SIM c. He handed over the keys to the house, and arranged for us to have another great, challenging tour of the sights of Dendera, Gebel el-Silsia, and up to the Nile Islands in Aswan, and many other wonderful sights, exactly according to my itineraries. The house has a kitchen with equipment that is more than sufficient for preparing meals. Two beautiful bathrooms, always hot water. Comfortable beds. It's quiet around. A short distance behind the house there is an equipped pharmacy and a shop with water. There are two restaurants within easy reach. We went to Model Village for shopping by tuk-tuk or by taxi. Bakeries, lots of grocery stores, you name it. People here are friendly, always willing to help. There are many sights within easy reach. You can easily get to Luxor by boat from the port under the Village. Careful, always agree on the price in advance. The house has air conditioning and fans. You only need to turn on the air conditioning a moment before going to bed, the fans ran all night. It was enough. We didn't use the washing machine, but we did use the fridge. On the second day you get to know the surroundings and on the third day you already feel at home. I recommend this beautiful house to all. Six people can comfortably fit here. You can relax on the beautiful large terrace at sunset over the Medinet Habu temple.

I was amazed by how spacious and luxurious the property was when I walked inside for the first time. It definitely has the 'wow' factor.

This place was truly amazing! Perfect for us in every way possible. So cosy, clean and comfortable with everything you could possibly need. Owner/Host was great! Very welcoming and helpful. Private terrace and pool was awesome! Being able to use in the evenings and relax and keep cool was bonus. Not like most hotels and places where no use after around 6pm. Really looking forward to returning in the future. If we visit Luxor, this will be our first option every time.

Authenticity-Set amongst the Theban hills and Nile agricultural area. Simple, cosy, mud brick cottage with nice garden and rooftop to enjoy the panoramic views. Abdul is super friendly and can help with whatever you need. We booked a hot air balloon tour through him. He is also an excellent chef and the home cooked meals we had at Nour El Balad was the best food we had in Egypt. Duck, chicken, kofta were all superb.
After all the hustle while sightseeing its the perfect oasis to come back to relax and enjoy. The buildings were really nice and fashionable in an egyptian way and together with the breakfast and the river aside so charming. Very friendly environment, cozy and kinda home vibe from the family. Of course Mustafa can arrange anything you want in Luxor, he was helpful and shared great hospitality. Totally recommend.
А great place, for those who need to be away from the noisy city, enjoy the quiet and tranquility. Private cozy palm leaf bungalows! The owner is a very interesting and deep person, a wonderful companion. We had with him a lot of interesting conversation, he lot a fire. You can also rent bicycles from him and try fish from the Nile. In this place was very friendly and relaxed atmosphere :)
