Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Cute little cottage. The host is very thoughtful-two huge bottles of water in the fridge means everything to the exhausted travelers, especially after the boiling lake hike.
The breakfast is flawless! We had fresh juice, fresh coffee, toasted bread with butter, cheese omelette, home fries, veggies and fruits. What’s more can you expect?
Lastly, the host is very welcoming. Although it is a short stay, we had a great conversation with Carol. She’s such a lovely lady. Wish her the best for her future plans!
Great coffee on arrival. Apartment is really tastefully decorated and great facilities (including hot tub and decked bbq area). Nick and Simon are great and easily contactable.
Very nice and relaxing place. Well located.
The cabin has all you need, the hospitality of Susan & Wendy is remarkable, they helped us a lot.
We will come back for sure.
Thanks!!!
Great place to stay, all the amenities and equipment you'd need for self catering etc. Amazing lush garden with swing chair perfect to relax in the evenings.. This is also where the breakfast is served by Carol Ann and her small team and the breakfast every morning was simply amazing.. Served in fresh air, different every morning, delicious every time..highly recommended. The house is also very close to some great locations to visit, especially worth mentioning the Batibou Beach.
Fantastic location. Great place for chillout and relax. Christine (thank you :-) is a great host and a charming person. Many interesting places around. Highly recommended place to stay for exploring north of the island.
This is an extraordinary place. You cannot get closer to the sea. On the balcony, you are above it. Probably due to the proximity to the sea,, the temperature in the room is always perfect, no air-conditioning needed.
The host is very charming and helpful. The rooms are decorated tastefully with a beautiful blend of British and Caribbean style.
Susan and Wendy were super kind. We could pick fruits from their garden. The cabin is beautiful, well maintained and clean. Everything we needed for the stay was there. Calibishie is also a very nice small village with everything there whay you need.
We stayed in a very cute and quaint refurbished traditional Dominican wooden cottage, which had an added kitchen and bathroom. The location was excellent in which to see the north of the island. The host, Carol Ann, was extremely friendly and helpful. AND she was a fabulous cook who served sumptuous breakfasts each morning!
The location was perfect and the main reason why we would return. The view was amazing from the cottage, lots of place for the children to run about and explore, it felt like a safe place to be especially with having security on until 10pm. Really lovely beaches and friendly people. Having Pascal take us around was really helpful as we did not have transport.
