The guesthouse was rather dated and tierd with motel type rooms, the staff were all very friendly. Nice location right by the sea and the quaint town of Nysted. It was very popular with the locals who had all booked in the restaurant for the monthly Friday night buffet.

It is such a nice place, and well-kept, you can see there’s been our attention into this place. Everything has been thought of, it’s in small details for children as well as the overall place, facilities. It was clean, nicely decorated and the garden is very specious. We absolutely loved staying at Paradiset and felt at home from the first second. Lene is so gracious and lovely with a great welcome, and the house is so gorgeous, it suited us perfectly. The location was super - quiet and beautiful, with nice towns within a short drive, we particularly liked Nysted. We went much further afield in search of historic sites and were not disappointed! Denmark really showcases it's heritage and we enjoyed discovering so much. A truly memorable holiday and a wonderful base to holiday from.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.

Breakfast was fresh, cozy and kid friendly. Bedroom was clean and spacious for 4 people, it had a fan an a small fridge, which was very practical. Beds were comfortable and the owner was very friendly, if traveling back in that area, we will definitely stay again. Grocery stores were within 6 minutes away by car, and knuthenborg safari was close and easy to drive from there. 100% recommended.

Charming hotel in a 19th century building right on the main square of a small market town. It is an easy 30km drive to the Rødby ferry. Parking is free on the square. The restaurant was of high quality for dinner and the breakfast was very nice as well. The port area makes for a pleasant walk.
