This is an exceptional property with exceptional hosts. The house was super clean, comfortable, and exceeded our expectations. A brand-new gourmet kitchen with all Bosch appliances made preparing meals a breeze and eating in the beautifully kept garden was a pleasure. The Petersen family was always available and ready to help via WhatsApp. They topped our experience with a personally guided "Wattwanderung" (a hike through the Wadden Sea or mudflats) to Oland Hallig (a small island about 4 miles off the coast that can be reached on foot during low tide) where Mr. Petersen was born and grew up. What a treat! The location is perfect for excursions to other islands (like Sylt) and to Denmark. The northernmost swimming beach of Germany (Südwesthörn) can be reached by bicycle (provided by the hosts) in 15 minutes. We will definitely return.
