This was the perfect getaway! Orosi is stunning, and this mountain lodge had the best view of the town and the mountains. The space was super clean, and our host made us feel welcome! We live just an hour outside of Orosi and will be coming back to stay in this mountain lodge in the future. We loved it.

The backyard was wonderful to chill out, even the road in front of the house was busy. We felt peaceful and relaxed. The house is close to Walmart, so it’s convenient for family.

The cabin is a cosy place on a off the woody lot easy to reach with a normal car. It has a well stocked kitchen (all utensils a little dated but perfectly functional), a dinner table big enough for 5-6 persons (we were 4) and a couch corner in front of a chimney which we put to good use (thankfully the owner readily provided us with wood). Upstairs there were two simple bedrooms, one with a queen bed, the other with a slightly bigger one, both stocked with lots of blankets (you will need them because of the cold). We had a great time there, going on hikes and spending evenings in front of the open fire.
The owner was really helpful and responsive!

Absolutely stunning & Vivi (the host) made the whole stay even better. The apartment is already Wow! with the view - honestly worth the stay just for it. You can have breakfast, relax, work remotely & even go to the bathroom admiring the view! But having Vivi as the host exceeded my expectations - she treated us like friends, she was absolutely amazing with helping us getting to the place and getting us some food. She was very attentive to us and sooooo friendly, it was great chatting with her as well.
I will definitely come back!

Cute little house close to Irazu Volcano National Park. It's a little old fashioned but had a well equipped kitchen. A good option for an early start at the volcano. Make sure you book entrance tickets to the volcano online in advance - they are not available on the gate.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
We stayed in the dbl room and the chalet. The room was super nice and cosy, a lovely decor. Unfortunately it was booked for more nights. So we took the chalet which was very spacious and great if you stay longer as it has a kitchen. It wasn't as clean as others have stated. The bedroom has various windows to see the town and mountains from bed which was cool. It comes with a terrace where we watched the birds every day. It's a cool little house. It's very quiet at night. The garden frogs stop before bed time.
Well-situated on a rise above this pretty town but close to everything, this guesthouse was simple but perfectly charming. The downstairs room has no view but instead a large window onto the green garden. All clean and pleasant with a good bathroom, and Mario who let me in was kind and helpful.

Orosi lodge is beautiful! Wonderful location and the hosts were so helpful and brilliant. The breakfast and coffee shop experience was a highlight! We would definitely come back, great value for money.
Lovely cosy feel to the place. Andreas was very helpful and informative. Orosi is a nice, relaxed town with a good selection of restaurants and plenty to do in the area. Andreas provides a helpful map pf the area.
The bungalow was very comfortable with a good kitchen and bathroom with everything needed. The staff and owners were wonderful; friendly and very helpful. The reception and breakfast area is also really nice.
A charming and comfortable hotel where every detail has been thought out. Breakfast is superb - fresh and homemade - and well worth the extra fee. Friendly, welcoming hosts. Overall, great value.
