The host and his family were literally amazing. They helped us with the Great Wall tickets, they brought us there with their car and picked us up.
Plus: dinner and breakfast are included and super tasty! Recommended!!

tasty, homemade! The owner Angel and Tony were so hospitality. They picked us from Beijing capital international airport to hotel.
The hotel is so beautiful with lots of oil paintings on the wall.
The room was comfortable.
The breakfast was yummy with good coffee.
Also Tony provided free shuttle bus to bring us from hotel to the Mutianyu Great Wall and took us to the hotel when we finished it.
I highly recommend Flower Yard!
We will come back again.

The stay from start to finish was amazing. The hotel is family run, and has a very friendly and homely atmosphere. Lily and her husband are fantastic hosts. They provided lunch, dinner and breakfast while we stayed and each were delicious (the food is locally sourced). The hotel itself is modern and comfortable, with a rooftop terrace where you can view parts of the Great Wall. The remaining view is of luscious green trees on the surrounding mountains. Lily actually booked our entry tickets (and chair lift up/tobogan down) for us. The entrance to the Great Wall is a 5 minute walk away, but Lilys husband dropped us to the gate as we were going very early in the morning. I'd recommend staying in Mutianyu if you can when visiting the Wall, and would especially recommend staying here! We had a great time staying there!

Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
We had an awesome stay at the Jumanyuan House. Besides the breathtaking views you get on the only partially restored Great wall, the accommodation was really great! The host organised really everything for us - train connections, pick-ups and Co. He told us where to go best for sunset and sunrise, even told us to buy some snacks for our early hike and where to get them. His dad drove us around and his mom prepared a delicious dinner for us. We were really sad to leave after only 1 night. Thanks for everything!
This hostel is consistently exceptional! During my second visit, the service quality remained impressively high. The staff, incredibly friendly, accommodated our group of 5 in a dorm designed for 4, adding a comfortable extra mattress. The cozy atmosphere, from comfy sofas to heated Japanese toilet seats, makes it feel like home. Plus, the food is incredibly delicious. I just love this place and will definitely come back in the future!
Charming and helpful staff, both human and feline. Every staff member made sure I was satisfied. The room was spacious and had a fridge, the bathroom had all the necessary things. The location for a Wall hike is unbeatable.
Very cosy place in a very normal and traditional Chinese village. The kids love the cats everywhere.
Very clean bathrooms and decorated with details and passion. Healthy and delicious food.
