The staff were very accommodating and friendly. There is evidence that the owners are attempting to revive a tired resort. Exterior of cabins was appealing. After reporting a noise problem that wasn't properly policed by the management they agreed to a reasonable refund.

no clue where breakfast was served. 4 of us stayed for just one night prior to going to a cottage. The two bedroom unit needs serious renovation, but the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was disgusting-one tiny bar of soap and tiny bottle of shampoo. Insufficient towels for 4 people. The grounds are, however, lovely. We did not have time to take advantage of the bbqs, etc. and should have booked a hotel room as we just needed a place to sleep.

Breakfast was good, service was slow but I understand staffing has been an issue! A very good friend of mine works there Aiden Landers and that young man deserves a raise! Also we owned a cottage there last year but sold and the kids, that live there work at your House! Emily and Daniel Sidon are great kids!!!!!

Location and views are stunning and the building is beautiful, old world charming! Due to COVID some things weren’t open (no indoor dining etc) but we had nice weather and ate on the covered verandah and at the pub patio. Food is really good. Pool immaculate and lots of other low key outdoor activities. We golfed across the street at Windermere Golf Club and that was great.
