Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
Location was great - in the middle of downtown and Signal Hill. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms were well equipped and had a cosy design. Bed was super comfy and there was tons of room for post hike stretching. Would totally recommend!
The room decor was cute and cozy, bed was comfortable, and the location is just a few minutes walk to all the popular restaurants and cafés in town (10-15 mins). Yet it's located in a quiet spot, away from the busy areas, with a beautiful view of the ocean. Doesn't get noisy at night. What made the stay a positive experience were the exceptional staff at the reception and the housekeeping staff who did a thorough job every time. And yes, the free, warm, delicious cookies are always appreciated.
Very good location with the waterfront and other attractions an easy walk. The room was characterized by cozy elegance, with a comfortable bed and very nice bathroom facilities. Breakfast was good and served in a nice setting by a very friendly host.
A beautifully restored heritage house, with an interesting past. In a great area, within walking distance of everything that St Johns has to offer.
Bill the owner is a great guy, very amenable, knowledgeable and friendly.
The inside of the house takes you back to days gone by, with a plethora of interesting artifacts which adorn every wall, nook and cranny.
The bed was extremely comfortable in a large room, which had lots of storage space.
Easy parking on the road outside.
The place was beautiful, the jacuzzi was out of this world comfortable. And loved the fireplace, and dimmable lights, made for a very intimate romantic stay. Great that there was a shower as well as the jacuzzi. Definitely going back!!
