Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
The cabin was lovely, clean and comfortable. Great quiet location and worked well for us as a base to explore Port Alberni and Pacific Rim National Park. Well stocked kitchen and all amenities we needed.
Would highly recommend a stay here.
Char's landing hostel is the best place to stay in Port Alberni !! Room is very clean and cozy !! The owner Char is a very friendly and kind ! She helped me a lot when I was in trouble. Thanks to her, I could make a wonderful memories in Port Alberni. While I was staying, there was the music concert in the 2nd floor hall. I enjoyed it with local people. Easy to access the main street !! High-speed wifi !! Big space shower/bath rooms !!

The cabin we stayed in was very clean. It was very well quipped. Extremely comfortable bed. We enjoyed the deck. Naomi, the hostess, was very nice and suggested somethings to do and things that were happening in and around town.
We really enjoyed the hosts` hospitality, the warm welcome into their house, detailed information about the area, the very pleasant little xtra of Breakfast and Dinner service, which exceeded our expectations. The food was well prepared and healthy...we only wanted more! The beds were very comfortable and the house in general is cosy and clean.
The hosts were friendly and helpful with suggestions on places to eat and to visit. The breakfast was first class, and healthy with locally sourced ingredients. The cabins were a little on the small side but comfortable none the less and the external shower was excellent, although afterwards I found paint from the shower on my feet 😄
