Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
We loved all the nature to explore. It was close to town if needed but also very secluded. Clean and quite well stocked with most essentials like basic cooking equipment, plates and cutlery and such. The cottage was beautiful inside and out, well maintained and it was great to find a laundry facility on premises. Would really recommend staying here for the tranquility alone.
The place feels like a lovely little cottage in the woods. This is perfect for a small group. The highlight of this place is the backyard, they have access to the lake, have a deck, as well as bonfire set up. For the summer they also have Kayaks, Paddleboat, etc. However, we visited in winter time, the lake was frozen but it was still a beautiful experience.
The hosts were also very helpful and responsive and the checkin process was easy.
supper clean , all newly renovated and modern with that peaceful country feel. Mike was awesome, showed me a couple of the cabins, also new, clean and cosy. really a great place for family especially if you have a picky partner.
Lake was beautiful, cottage lovely and all newly done up. Wish we had more time to stay and enjoy it all.
The outside space was very nice, lots of places to sit and enjoy the view, fireplace, company.
Nice weekend getaway for my family! The resort, however, is a little tired, and could benefit from some upgrades. Our cottage was clean and charming, and the screened in porch was perfect to eat outside and enjoy summer evenings without bugs. The beach area was well maintained, but didn't offer fantastic swimming. Not sure if we could stay an entire week, but for a weekend, it fit the bill.
