This really was an exceptional stay - easy to locate and check-in, extremely comfortable, beautifully and thoughtfully designed and impeccably clean. We woke in the morning to the delightful sounds of the countryside - birds, chickens, cows - wonderful. There was fantastic communication with the hosts who met us after we'd checked in to make sure we were okay and were very welcoming. The facilities are abundant - we are a family of five and there was everything we needed and more (cooking facilities, plenty of TV options, great WIFI and an excellent range of board games which we loved). We stayed here en route home from a long road trip in Europe and will definitely do so again. Highly recommended.
Cottages are perfect for travellers who enjoy feeling cosy and independent in the countryside. Usually small, traditionally built houses, cottages spread across one or two floors, making them great for families, or holidays with a little more privacy.
The house is located in an idyllic village. It’s incredibly spacious and is really cosy with its retro-style furnishing. The wood stove makes it great for autumn/winter, whilst the deck will be fanatic for summer nights.
The owners are friendly and reply very swiftly. The house was immaculate and everything you need is there.
